K-Klass feat. Kinane – Talk 2 Me

K Klass – as artists, remixers, producers or artists – have always oozed quality. From the days of meeting up and getting all smiley at The Hacienda, to touring the world for Cream, from making their own tunes to deconstructing others, it’s always been premier league.

Given to Pete Tong on CD at a club and blasted out on Radio One before the record was even mastered, ‘Talk 2 Me’ was the instant killer with one of the catchiest hooks of the year and a guest vocal from Danny Tenaglia fave Irish diva Kinane. And that’s before we even mention the remix!

The record follows K-Klass’ debut releases with Octave One and Masters At Work and is their first collaboration with Kinane – a young lady also enjoying the limelight after co-writing and singing ‘Blazin’ for Ed Case, she has already made an indelible stamp on dance music history with ‘98 Miami Winter Conference anthem ‘Heaven’ as remixed by Danny Tenaglia.

Masters At Work featuring India – Backfired

Their name says it all – Masters At Work. For over a decade, ‘Little’ Louie Vega and Kenny ‘Dope’ Gonzalez have shepherded dance music down new paths with their inventive production style and imaginative feel for different musical forms. The two native New Yorkers have amassed an overwhelming body of work in that time, one that includes hundreds of original productions, remixes and side projects, redefining the way we think of music in clubs.

Vega and Gonzalez defiantly mix everything they can find – house, hip-hop, funk, disco, Latin, African and jazz – into a universal groove. And in doing so, MAW has become a cultural mélange unto itself, emblematic of the multicultural society in which we live.

‘Backfired’ boasts the inimitable influence of India on vocals and is one of 2000s best dance records – another feather in the hat for suSU!

Morris T feat.Taka Boom – The Third Pleasure

Licensed from Italy’s best dance label Oxyd, this is the first single collaboration between Morris T & Taka Boom and it’s definitely one to be heard.

As well as DJing for over 10 years, producer Morris T also collaborated with the illusive Firmoon on another suSU release ‘Let Me Be’, a track famous for sporting the incredible, unmistakable soulful tones of US vocal veteran Barbara Tucker.

This track just oozes feel good, sun-kissed, summer vibes, giving you all of it’s love and asking for nothing in return.
