Axwell feat. Evelyn Thomas – High Energy
Refreshingly Axwell has been a producer with ‘a sound’. Not fitting neatly (or otherwise) into just any of the House sub-set, he ranges far and wide with his music, meaning each single release has largely been assessed as a standalone item. That, it must be said, provides a pretty fascinating background when presented with an opportunity to re-work the Evelyn Thomas classic ‘High Energy’.
Chicago diva Evelyn Thomas’ original hit back in 1984 sold a staggering 7 million singles! Classed as one of the biggest selling singles in the eighties, ‘High Energy’ went to number one in every European territory except UK where it got to No.5. 19 years later, and is still championed by many a top jock.
The dancefloor classic now gets the full rework treatment from the incredibly talented producer of all things soulful and 1/3 of dance music’s golden boys Swedish House Mafia – Axwell.
Whack it on your wheels of steel and all will be revealed! I kid ye not, this tune is essential discoteque rockin’ fodder for any jock! This is Large!!!

Lynsey Moore – Embrace Me (Joey Negro Mix)
Following the success of her collaboration with Ramsey & Fen, Lynsey Moore hits back with a new track in the form of the massive filter house of ‘Embrace Me’.
Co-written by Lynsey, ‘Embrace Me’ is a slice of true vocal house: emotive, joyous and uplifting – but with the added (and rare) bonus of a decent tune and haunting lyrics.
Remixed by filter house pioneer Joey Negro and currently storming the clubs, “it’s about denial of one’s feelings,” says Lynsey, “and not being taken for granted by your man…so it’s definitely one for all you girls!”
Us boys could probably learn a thing or two as well!

Mama Razzi – Show Me Love
There is not much more to say than ‘Wow’.
It is an incredibly rare experience to actually hear such a voice nowadays and this is exactly what Mama Razzi gives us on this track.
She clearly has a very good music teacher or some seriously strong genes as this is quite frankly awesome.
When is it coming out I hear you ask? It’s out. It’s available. And it’s selling FAST!

Kim English – Simply Grateful
House diva Kim English returns with a soulful groove in the form of Simply Grateful, including a top funky house mix from Darryl James.
Chicago-based house vocalist Kim English has scored several hit singles in both the US and UK club/dance charts, including her first single ‘Nite Life’, on which she collaborated with former Ten City members Byron Burke and Byron Stingily. Remixes by Armand Van Helden and Masters At Work secured her reputation as a sensual yet spiritual singer, and singles such as ‘I Know a Place’ and ‘Time For Love’ both reached the top 40 of the UK’s pop chart. Her albums for Nervous Records, which include Learn 2 Love, Higher Things and 2000’s Re-Energized, found her working with other house luminaries such as Junior Vasquez, Razor N Guido, Wamdue Project, Boris & Beck and many others.

Big Danny Kane -Play Da Funk
Totally suSU.
Big Danny Kane is responsible for one of the first tunes off the label, a peak time monster that came and killed most dance floors on the Soulful House scene with its big bass and sweeping synths.
Pure 100% balaric beef ‘Play Da Funk’ is a modern musical beast of epic proportions, an unstoppable dance smash that was never going to go away.
